Mine Mappers LLC. confirms the potential for large ore bodies in Star Mountain Resources, Inc.'s (SMRS) Chopar Project


Tempe, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / January 27, 2015 / Star Mountain Resources Inc. (OTC: SMRS) has retained Mine Mappers, LLC., a geological research and consulting company, to aid in the exploration process of their wholly owned Chopar Project, located in the Star Mining District, Beaver County, Utah. Mine Mappers is evaluating prior exploration history and preparing a scope of work for a comprehensive exploration program to thoroughly evaluate the mineral potential of Star Mountain Resources' mineral holdings. This is the first step Star Mountain Resources' new management has taken toward reaching their goal of making the Chopar Project viable.



Mine Mappers CEO, Dr. Mark Osterberg, who has over 30 years of experience in the mining business noted,"The Chopar project and the larger Star Mining District hold significant potential for economic concentrations of skarn and sediment-hosted Au-Ag mineralization. The presence of skarn mineralization in outcrop, in historic mines and in drill core and chips is encouraging. The extent of zones affected by contact metasomatism is potentially large enough to host ore bodies of size and grade to interest junior and major mining concerns."


Skarn bodies are associated with mineable accumulations of metallic ores of iron, copper, zinc, lead, gold, and several others. Star Mountain CEO, Joseph Marchal said, "We're excited about the potential of our Chopar Project because where there's skarn, there's gold."
