INDIANAPOLIS -- (Business Wire)
Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), a global provider of unified
IP business communications solutions, has been named among the 2012
Best Places to Work in Indiana.
Interactive
Intelligence was ranked eighth among 31 winners in the large company
category. This is the sixth consecutive year Interactive Intelligence
has been honored in the program, which is coordinated by the Indiana
Chamber of Commerce.
Companies nominated for the 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana
ranking were evaluated based on workplace policies, practices, and
demographics. Companies were also qualified based on employee survey
responses that measured employee experience.
“As a software company that relies on constant innovation to be
successful, our people are our most critical asset,” said Interactive
Intelligence founder and CEO, Dr. Donald E. Brown. “This ranking
reflects the value we place on employees, and I want to personally thank
each and every one of them for helping grow our business from a
dozen-person start-up to a profitable, publicly traded company that now
employs more than 1,100 people around the globe.”
Interactive’s three northwest-side headquarter buildings occupy a total
of more than 200,000 square-feet and feature a modern, award-winning
interior design with fitness center, game room, and café.
In addition to standard benefits,
Interactive Intelligence offers volunteer opportunities for employees
through the charitable Interactive Intelligence Foundation, paternity
leave, an on-site health care clinic, exercise classes, discounted
on-site massage sessions, home PC purchase plan, casual dress code, and
leadership development programs.
The 2012 Best Places to Work in Indiana winners were selected
from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 15 and
249 U.S. employees, and large-sized companies consisting of 250 or more
employees nationwide.
This year’s Best Places to Work in Indiana winners were
recognized by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce during an awards dinner
May 3 held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
