upgrade or purchase later. Unlike other carriers, which require the
customer to decide to buy up front, Sprint lets customers make the final
decision later, so they don’t get stuck with their old phone. Sprint
Flex allows customers to enjoy their phone before deciding what option
(upgrade, continue leasing, return or own) works best for their
lifestyle. Customers can still choose to buy the phone outright at point
of sale.
Fastest Possible Data Speeds
The new moto z2 is Motorola’s most advanced phone ever. It
has a sleek, full metal design and a screen that’s guaranteed not to
crack or shatter.3 A powerful processor provides the fastest
possible data speeds, so you never miss a beat. With Moto ModsTM
you can add powerful stereo speakers, a 360° camera, a projector, and
100 percent more battery life – in a snap.
Moto z2 is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile
platform with an integrated Snapdragon X16 LTE modem supporting
gigabit-class LTE.4 Just a few months ago, Motorola and
Sprint demonstrated the first U.S. deployment of gigabit-class LTE live
on a commercial network.
“We are excited to bring Motorola’s flagship smartphone, moto z2,
into the Sprint product portfolio,” said Ryan Sullivan, vice president
of Product Development, Sprint. “This device is extra special for us
because it will enable the gigabit-class LTE speeds we look forward to
bringing to our customers soon. With these speeds, our customers will be
able to download movies and share large files faster than ever.”
In addition, moto z2 is Sprint’s latest HPUE-enabled (High
Performance User Equipment) smartphone. HPUE makes the Sprint network
experience even better with increased coverage, more capacity and faster
speeds on capable devices. HPUE-enabled smartphones are designed to give
customers a better overall experience with streaming videos, mobile
gaming and other online apps and services. HPUE can extend Sprint’s
2.5GHz coverage by up to 30 percent to nearly match its midband 1.9GHz
spectrum performance, including indoors where the majority of wireless
traffic is generated.
