OKLAHOMA CITY -- (Business Wire)
The
Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
(OBESPA) will launch a redesigned
licensing system for speech-language pathologists and audiologists.
The new system will be launched November 1, just in time for the annual
license renewal.
The new
licensing system features a more aesthetically pleasing look and
added functionality to make utilizing the system more navigable for
licensees.
“It’s important that OBESPA provide an informative, user-friendly, and
functional application process to speech-language pathology and
audiology providers in Oklahoma,” OBESPA Chair, Tracy Grammer, MS,
CCC-SLP, ASHA Fellow said.
The new
Licensure Application and Renewal System is designed to include a
“license wizard” that walks each licensee through the application based
on the need of the user, they are registering for a new license,
renewing a current license, deactivating a license, or reactivating an
existing license.
In addition, each applicant now has the ability to view a thumbnail of
the image that will appear on his or her license and have the ability to
upload another image. In addition, they will have the ability to print
an online license wallet card instantly upon completing a license
renewal application.
