
TUTICORIN, India -- (Business Wire)
The Madras High Court passed an order on 28 September 2010, ordering
the closure of the Tuticorin Smelter. Subsequently, the Company had
filed a Special Leave Petition in the Honourable Supreme Court of India
on September 29, 2010 against the Madras High Court order.
The Special Leave Petition filed in the Honourable Supreme Court of
India against the Madras High Court Order wherein Interim Stay was
granted vide Order dated October 1, 2010 was heard on 13 December 2010
and the matter has been adjourned to the last week of January 2011 and
the stay has been extended accordingly.
