HELENA, Mont. -- (Business Wire)
Montana employers may now apply for the Excellence in Worksite Health
Promotion Awards at http://mahcp.org/excellence-in-worksite-health-promotion-awards/.
Applications are due by February 26, 2016. The purpose of these awards
is to recognize organizations for the progressive steps they are taking
towards improving employee health and productivity over time. Employers
may apply for three distinct award levels; Bronze, Sliver, and Gold,
which represent different industry standards and approaches to worksite
wellness platforms.
“We have some amazing work going on in Montana in the worksite wellness
arena. With the help of our worksite wellness awards, we have been able
to showcase the hard work, dedication, and commitment of Montana
employers to the health and well-being of their employees, employees’
families, and the communities of Montana they represent,” added Chelsea
Pelc, Clinical Programs Manager at the Montana Association of Health
Care Purchasers.
The awards cycle occurs every two years. The last awards cycle in 2014
recognized 24 Montana employers. Montana Association of Health Care
Purchasers expects the 2016 awards year to be the largest awards year to
date.
The award application itself, developed in 2014 for the Department of
Health and Human Services by Montana
Interactive, focuses on accessibility and ease of input making it
easy for employers to apply and receive recognition for all the effort
they are putting into worksite wellness.
