The Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) has released two new online services, offering both professionals and citizens increased access to licensee information and a more convenient license renewal process.

Licensed medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals may now renew their license online. The renewal application is a secure, mobile-ready site, offering licensees the ability to renew their license by providing their license identification number and the last four digits of their social security number.

Additionally, licenses can be verified through the License Search. Searches may be conducted by entering the professional’s name and license identification number.

Vanessa Breeding, the Executive Director of KBMIRT stated, “Both sites were built with a desire to provide convenient access to licensee information, streamline the renewal process and better serve the needs of over 8000 licensed professionals in the Commonwealth.”

The site was developed at no cost to KBMIRT through their public-private partnership with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.
