Wireless, operator of the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G
LTE network
WHAT: Verizon Wireless recently enhanced fourth generation (4G)
Long Term Evolution (LTE) network
coverage in and around Mount Snow Resort in Dover, VT. 4G LTE

WHERE: Verizon Wireless first debuted its 4G LTE network in
Vermont in May
2012. Recently, Verizon Wireless enhanced network coverage in and
around Mount Snow Resort to include Wilmington, VT.
BACKGROUND: “4G LTE is changing the way customers interact with
the world via next generation apps, devices and solutions,” commented
Dave MacBeth, Executive Director of Network for Verizon Wireless. “By
investing in wireless broadband, we’re investing in local communities
and economies where our customers live, work and play.”
“Thanks to newly enhanced 4G LTE wireless coverage from Verizon Wireless
around the ski area, our customers can stay up-to-date on slope
conditions, the weather, and resort activities on our recently updated
website – all from their mobile devices,” said Dave Meeker,
Communications Manager for Mount Snow Resort. “We often see our visitors
uploading photos of their experiences at the mountain to social media,
many of them actually doing it while riding a chairlift in between runs,
and having better coverage from Verizon Wireless in the area makes it
that much easier for them to instantly show friends and family the fun
they’re having."
Verizon Wireless operates the nation's largest and most reliable 4G LTE
network. Available in more than 500 cities across the country, it is the
only 4G network that is 100 percent LTE, and covers more than 97 percent
