New Director Brings Proven Leadership to the Semiconductor Company

Integrated Device Technology, Inc. (IDT®) (NASDAQ:IDTI) today announced
that Ken Kannappan, president, CEO and board member at Plantronics, has
been appointed to the company's Board of Directors, effective Jan. 27,
2015. Additionally, Kannappan has been named to the Compensation
Committee and will serve as chairman of the Nominating and Governance
Committee.

leadership, both at Plantronics and in the financial sector," said IDT

Kannappan joined Plantronics in February 1995 as vice president of
sales, responsible for OEM sales and the Asia Pacific/Latin America
markets. After a series of promotions, he was appointed in March 1998 to
president and chief operating officer then, less than a year later, to
CEO, as well as elected to the Board of Directors. Prior to joining
Plantronics, Kannappan was senior vice president of investment banking
for Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated, where he was employed from
August 1985 through January 1995. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Economics from Yale University and a Master's of Business Administration
from Stanford University.
Kannappan also serves as director of Mattson Technology, Inc., a
supplier of advanced process equipment for the semiconductor industry,
and served on the IDT board, including in the role of chairman, from
2000 to 2008.
