The Office of the Secretary of State and Alabama Interactive partnered
to provide the state of Alabama’s first online voter information request
portal. This new portal will allow lists and voter history information
to be easily accessed and purchased online.
The online voter information portal will provide access to lists and
voter history which includes, but is not limited to: County School
Districts, County Commission Districts, State House Districts, State
Senate Districts, State School Districts, Congressional Districts and
statewide voter lists.

Alabama!” said Secretary John H. Merrill. “This new feature continues my
efforts to increase transparency and will allow any interested citizen,
candidate or elected official to be able to custom prepare and purchase
the voter list they desire without having to contact another person to
do it. The system will be secure, cost-efficient, and provide easy
access to the available information.”
About the Elections Division of the Alabama Secretary of State
The Elections Division assists the Secretary of State in carrying out
his duties as the Chief Election Official for the State of Alabama.
Responsibilities of the Elections Division include, but are not limited
to, oversight of voter registration and absentee, military and overseas
voting, providing guidance to election officials related to pre-election
procedures, managing election day activities and post-election
procedures, providing guidance to candidates and political action
committees with Fair Campaign Practices Act (“FCPA”) compliance, and the
filing of documents and results related to state elections and FCPA.
