FRANKFORT, Ky. -- (Business Wire)

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has launched a new portal that provides citizens and driving professionals a one-stop shop for everything related to driving in the Commonwealth. Drive.ky.gov offers information on driver’s licensing, driving history, as well as vehicle and watercraft registration. The portal also provides information for motor carriers and driving professionals.

The portal was built with responsive design, so users can view the information from a variety of devices. Additionally, in-page search navigation and quick links to page translation and assistance allows users to quickly find the information they are seeking.

“We are excited to offer one location to search all things driver-related, built in a format that allows access from multiple devices,” said Rodney Kuhl, KYTC Commissioner of the Department of Vehicle Regulation.

In addition to registration and licensing information, the portal lists state driving laws, links to state traffic school registration and other state-mandated insurance regulations.

“Whether you are a residential or licensed professional driver, the portal will provide all of the resources you need to travel our highways,” said Kuhl.

The site was built at no cost for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet through a public-private partnership with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.
