West Virginia Office of Secretary of Education and the Arts Launches New Mobile-Friendly Website

The West Virginia Office of Secretary of Education and the Arts recently launched a new website enabling users to access useful and relevant information quickly and easily at: http://www.edandarts.wv.gov.

The new website was built using responsive design, adjusting to any size screen whether the user is accessing the site from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. The redesigned website makes it easier than ever to connect with the agency and stay up to date on the latest news, announcements, and events as well as to find information about its grants, programs, and agencies. Additionally, the site features a new photo section that enables visitors to connect with the agency on Instagram and view images of recent events.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with WV.gov to design our new website, and working with them on the project was effortless!” said Gayle Manchin, Cabinet Secretary. “Visitors to our new site can quickly and easily find information about our programs and agencies, which supports our ongoing efforts to empower the lives of West Virginians.”

The Department of Education and the Arts provides statewide leadership and innovation, enhancing arts and minds throughout West Virginia. Composed of six agencies and a number of special programs originating from the Cabinet Secretary’s Office, the Department seeks to reinforce the rich heritage of culture, education, and artistic creation in West Virginia. The new website was developed at no additional cost by the Office of Secretary of Education and the Arts in partnership with WV.gov.
