The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that iShares Core S&P 500 Index ETF has split its Canadian-dollar units and U.S.-dollar units on a two-new-for-one-old basis, effective at the open on Aug. 9, 2024. According to the TSX, the record date for the split is Aug. 7, 2024, the payable date is Aug. 8, 2024, and the due-bill trading period is from the open on Aug. 7, 2024, until the close on Aug. 8, 2024 (inclusive). The ex distribution date is Aug. 9, 2024.

The TSX notes that the Canadian-dollar units will continue trading under the symbol XUS and the U.S.-dollar units will continue trading under the symbol XUS.U.
