Mr. Anoosh Manzoori reports
SPARC AI SELECTS PARROT ANAFI USA GOV DRONE FOR SPARC AI MICROCHIP INTEGRATION
Sparc AI Inc. has selected the Parrot ANAFI USA GOV drone to integrate its Sparc AI (artificial intelligence) microchip.
The Parrot ANAFI USA GOV drone is designed for first responders and offers the same high-end security, durability and capabilities as Parrot's short-range reconnaissance (SRR) drone designed for the U.S. Army.
The drone is manufactured in the United States and trusted globally by defence and security organizations.
The drone has been purchased for $14,500 (U.S.) and is expected to be delivered to Sparc AI offices within three weeks. Installation of the Sparc AI microchip and first flight will commence shortly after.
The team is preparing a series of robust testing of Sparc AI on the drone. This includes a test of the drone's thermal camera with Sparc AI, autonomous flight powered by Sparc AI, and use-case testing for situation awareness, reconnaissance and target acquisition.
The Sparc AI microchip may also be integrated into other drone manufacturers over time. The Parrot ANAFI drones have an ability to integrate third
party applications. Should Sparc AI integration into the Parrot ANAFI drone prove to be successful with clear benefits, Sparc AI will have a well-defined target market to promote its solution.
The company will share the results of its tests on its website.
