THC RECEIVES GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE ("GMP") CERTIFICATION
THC Biomed Intl Ltd. has received good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification for the production of marijuana plants and dried marijuana.
THC has been assessed and meets the requirements of good manufacturing practice under the Codex Alimentarius Commission, Recommended International Code of Practices, General Principles of Food Hygiene, CAC/RCP 1-1969, Rev. 4 (2003) for the production of marijuana plants, dried marijuana (propagation, growing, harvesting, drying, curing and packaging).
"This certification is significant. It recognizes our high standards and now paves the way for THC Biomed Intl to export its products into international markets. We are excited to begin the process of exporting our products to Europe and other markets," said John Miller, president and chief executive officer of THC. "We have begun the process of strengthening our international presence. The international cannabis market displays strong signs of growth and signals indicate a strong demand for high-grade cannabis products internationally.
"Our expansion in anticipation of the recreational cannabis market is on target and we expect to introduce an additional 10 cannabis production rooms within the next few weeks," said Mr. Miller.
