Otis Gold starts road building, drilling at Kilgore

2015-10-01 09:14 ET - News Release

Mr. Craig Lindsay reports

OTIS COMMENCES KILGORE DRILL PROGRAM

Otis Gold Corp. has commenced road construction and drilling at its flagship Kilgore gold project. Construction of approximately 900 metres of roads into the emerging North target area and 300 metres of roads into the untested Crab Claw area began in early September and is progressing on schedule. Parallel with road construction, the first several holes of a planned 15- to 20-hole program totalling up to 4,200 metres have been completed, and drilling will continue into November. Drilling is being conducted by O'Keefe Drilling Co. Inc. of Butte, Mont., and results will be released as they become available.

The reverse circulation drilling is focused in the North target and Crab Claw areas, located at the north/northwest end and contiguous to the Kilgore deposit, where holes drilled in 2011 and 2012 successfully expanded the strike length of the deposit by approximately 150 metres. Drilling in 2011 included intercepts of 114.3 m of 0.89 gram per tonne gold in hole OKC-258, 118.8 m of 0.89 g/t Au in OKC-259, 48.8 m of 1.05 g/t Au in hole OKC-265 and 32.0 m of 1.15 g/t Au in hole OKC-247 (see news release dated Jan. 12, 2012). Drilling in 2012 included intercepts of 82.3 m of 0.95 g/t Au in hole OKR-291, 121.9 m of 1.04 g/t Au in hole OKR-292 and 83.8 m of 1.12 g/t Au in hole 12 OKR-294 (see news release dated Jan. 17, 2013). Photos of the work can be viewed at the company's website.

President and chief executive officer Craig Lindsay stated, "We are very pleased with the commencement of the current work program, which is intended to potentially expand mineralization and find the edges of the existing deposit, and is an important next phase in the development of the Kilgore gold deposit."
