The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a so-so 77-69-164 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose eight points to 638. Adam Lundin and Dr. William Lamb's Lucara Diamond Corp. (LUC) rose one-half cent to 37.5 cents on 10,000 shares. The company is still looking at completing its underground expansion of the Karowe mine in Botswana on time. It is also looking to sell a few massive gems that could pad its treasury.

Dev Randhawa and Ray Ashley's F3 Uranium Corp. (FUU) added one-half cent to 19.5 cents on 1.44 million shares Tuesday on word of a new radioactive discovery at its Patterson Lake North project in the Athabasca district of Northern Saskatchewan. The headline counts came from a 23.5-metre radioactive zone, with a 0.56-metre subinterval showing over 10,000 cycles per second on the company's scintillometer. Immediately above that broad zone was an eight-metre interval that peaked at 2,500 cycles per second.
