The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Friday was an upbeat 90-61-151 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose 11 points to 530. Francis MacDonald's Li-FT Power Ltd. (LIFT) had a good day, jumping 50 cents to $6.10 on 306,000 shares on word it has closed the sale of nearly 1.44 million flow-through shares at $8.65 apiece, raising $12.4-million, a sale that included full exercise of the underwriters' greenshoe option. Over the last month, Mr. Zimnisky's index has now snailed its way northward from what stands as a two-year low of 152.3 points, managing a 0.6-per-cent gain over the past month.
