The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Wednesday was a mediocre 82-86-142 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell three points to 613. Jourdan Resources Inc. (JOR), busy drilling for lithium on its Vallee project in Quebec, lost one cent to seven cents on 1.48 million shares.
Nick Zeng and Fleming Huang's Golden Share Resources Corp. (GSH) closed unchanged at seven cents on 1,000 shares. The company revealed late last week that Mr. Zeng, its chairman and chief executive officer for the past eight years, will be resigning because of "health concerns." Wes Roberts, a Golden Share director, takes over as CEO on an interim bases, while Zhen Huang becomes chairman. While Mr. Zeng did not disclose his ailment, it is concerning enough that he also stepped down as a director of Flying Nickel Mining Corp. (FLYN: $0.18) late last week.
When Mr. Zeng said his goodbyes to Golden share, he said he was "thankful to have such a capable board and management team to carry on." Unfortunately, there has not been much action to carry anywhere, the company's "discovery in motion" website banner notwithstanding. That banner alternates with a second -- "drill for discovery" -- and while that has been the plan for several years, there has been little evidence of either the drilling or the motion.

"Forbes report need 350+ new mines to supply conversion"
No kidding. Also, from where does the electricity come to keep those Tesla's humming?
For those into shifting their paradigms, great. Me? I recall wandering an artery in my local suburb one day, years ago, blurting out: "Hey, where did all the video stores go?"
