The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Monday was a positive 99-75-126 as the TSX Venture Exchange added 15 points to 963 while polished diamond prices held steady. Nikolaos Cacos's Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (BSK) percolated 2.5 cents higher today, closing at 30 cents on 1.86 million shares thanks to continuing enthusiasm for its Amarillo Grande project in Argentina.

Dean Taylor's Diamcor Mining Inc. (DMI) lost one cent to 41.5 cents on 166,000 shares. Diamcor was back in the news late last week with word that it has sold the 2,512 carats of diamond recently recovered from its Krone-Endora at Venetia project in South Africa, just a few weeks into the current quarter. The gems fetched over $483,000 (U.S.), about $192 (U.S.) per carat, in the first of three tenders during the final quarter of 2021. In the three tenders completed in the previous quarter, Diamcor sold 4,330 carats for $1.02-million (U.S.), about $236 (U.S.) per carat.
