The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Tuesday was a gloomy 58-153-89 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell 14 points to 914, while polished diamond prices fell 0.2 per cent. Energy Fuels Inc. (EFR) was a busy trader, gaining 11 cents to $6.57 on 1.38 million shares. Energy Fuels -- uranium and vanadium are the fuels in question -- has been around for decades, but its one-year chart looks far better than its 20-year version.

Dermot Desmond and Stuart Brown's Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. (MPVD) lost one cent to 50 cents on 21,000 shares. With its big Tuzo kimberlite looking rather wobbly these days, the company might yet have a chance to wiggle its Kennady North kimberlites into the mine plan for Gahcho Kue. First, of course, Mr. Brown, Mountain's president and chief executive officer, will have to sell the merits of the move to De Beers Canada, which owns 51 per cent of the mine, 250 kilometres northeast of Yellowknife.

Seems to be a typo in the last sentence of the second to last paragraph in the MPVD discussion. I’m not sure I understand what’s being said... $84 or $140 per carat? Maybe one of those is tonnes?
