The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Thursday was a decent 85-72-143 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose 11 points to 595. Dr. Ray Davies's Talmora Diamond Corp. (TAI) lost one-half cent to 1.5 cents on 935,000 shares. The company, long dismissed as "no-bid Talmora" has been a busy trader -- for it -- this month. Today is the sixth day in four weeks to see trading, starting with a 1.21-million-share day on June 1. The last brief flurry of trading occurred in October of 2018.
Graham Warren and Dr. Leon Daniels's Pangolin Diamonds Corp. (PAN), unchanged at 2.5 cents on 370,000 shares, has received approval from the Botswanan government for a 500-tonne bulk sample of the A10 kimberlite. (The approval went to Makanwu Civil Blasting Ltd., the private company that owns the project. Pangolin acquired an option to acquire a 75-per-cent interest in the project two years ago, one condition of which is the completion of the sample.)
