The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Thursday was a pleasant 81-65-154 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell one point to 558. Lukas Lundin's Lucara Diamond Corp. (LUC) had a good day, adding 10 cents to 71 cents on 1.33 million shares. The company has not had news since early May, but its Karowe mine continues operating and producing ample amounts of high-value gems. (Now, Lucara must find a way to sell them all.)
Andrew Lee Smith's True North Gems Inc. (TGX), unchanged at 10 cents on 1,000 shares, is "currently evaluating its options in terms of restructuring." For now, high on its list of options is an arrangement with Ken Ralf's Razore Rock Resources Inc. (RZR: $0.19). Razore acquired an option on True North's True Blue rare-earth elements property in southeastern Yukon last fall. Razore can earn a 70-per-cent interest in the property by spending $300,000 on exploration over three years and issuing 600,000 shares in staged before late 2021.
