The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Tuesday was a positive 81-66-153 as the TSX Venture Exchange rose two points to 562. Michael Kobler's American Lithium Corp. (LI) gained seven cents to 62 cents on 2.74 million shares. The company's last news came late in May, when it produced a resource estimate for its TLC lithium claystone project in Nevada.

(TSD: $0.09) is tweaking its plan to prove or kill its big BK16 kimberlite project in Botswana, but it is no closer to having the cash needed to do the work, nor does it have a rough date for when it hopes to start the dig. Tsodilo completed a smaller bulk sample of the pipe in 2018, but the rock value was a depressing $6.60 (U.S.) per carat. Not to worry: Mr. Bruchs, president and chief executive officer, set his modellers to work and they came up with dozens of rosier scenarios that the company now hopes to put to the test.
