The TSX Venture Exchange closed up 15.86 points to 1,034.36 Monday. Alex Lyamport's first capital pool shell, Four Arrows Capital Corp. (AROW), has listed with a $500,000 initial public offering at 10 cents. Its IPO agent was Canaccord Genuity Corp. Not unusually for a shell, Four Arrows did not trade today.
Mr. Lyamport, 50, lives in Miami. From 2003 to 2012, he was the head of capital markets at Link Capital Financial Services Ltd., a financial advisory firm that focused on Russia and Eastern Europe. From 2005 to 2009, he was also a director of iMusic TV GmbH, the owner and operator of a music channel in Germany. These days, he is a director and the chief financial officer of Navigator Principal Investors LLC, an investment company founded by Kyle Shostak. Mr. Lyamport also sits on the board of Mr. Shostak's capital pool shell, Navigator Acquisition Corp. (NAQ: halted), which is working on a Brazilian renewable energy deal. Mr. Shostak lives in New Jersey and previously worked at Credit Suisse Group AG.
