The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Monday was a positive 106-78-116 as the TSX Venture Exchange regained 10 points to 954 while polished diamond prices rose 0.1 per cent. Glenn Kasner and Robert Mackay's RJK Explorations Ltd. (RJX) dipped one cent to 13.5 cents on 61,000 shares. The company, still active in the Cobalt area of Northeastern Ontario, is now off to Hollywood, so to speak.
RJK, which has already brought its Nipissing diamond promotion to a brisk boil, has now signed a preliminary agreement with a "very successful, award-winning, United States TV producer" -- one that currently has 20 series sold to networks that are in various stages of development and production. Mr. Kasner, chief executive officer, and Mr. Mackay, executive chairman, say that RJK was approached by the producer in spring, to "discuss the idea of creating a docuseries TV show revolving around RJK's search for the source of the 800-carat Nipissing diamond."
