ROOTS UNVEILS NEW LOCATIONS ACROSS CANADA, BLENDING MODERN DESIGN WITH ICONIC HERITAGE
Building on its evolution as a premium lifestyle brand, Roots Corp. has been engaging in store refreshes across Canada this year. Highlights include the opening of its newest flagship in Vancouver and the launch of its first-ever pilot concept store in Toronto.

Vancouver -- 929 Robson St.
The new Robson Street location builds on the brand's 30-year legacy in the neighbourhood. Its elevated space reflects deep community roots while introducing a refreshed retail experience that feels both contemporary and distinctly local. Layered, textured and inviting, it blends modern Roots essentials, premium leathers and general store goods.
Signature design elements such as the preserved moss wall and custom moss beaver sculpture pay tribute to the Roots logo and Canada's natural landscapes. A lightbox ceiling installation features a commissioned image of Stanley Park while digital features, including holographic screens, capture the essence of Vancouver's outdoor culture and adventurous spirit.
Unique to the store is the Vancouver collection, a curated assortment exclusive to the city. The space will serve as a community hub, hosting events and initiatives that bring people together, further embedding Roots in Vancouver's cultural fabric.
Toronto -- 1096 Yonge St.
Roots Outpost, a new pilot concept store by Roots, opens its doors in Toronto's Rosedale neighbourhood, paying homage to the brand's legacy. The concept space celebrates 52 years of Roots quality and craftsmanship through meaningful storytelling, thoughtful design and unique product offerings.
Decorated with archival black-and-white photos, heritage objects, and contemporary Canadian art, combined with warm wood finishes, the space evokes a personal and authentic Roots experience.
Yonge Street itself is no stranger to Roots. Roots opened its first store on Aug. 15, 1973, at 1052 Yonge St. The return to the neighbourhood marks a meaningful continuation of the brand's story.
The store will carry an assortment of local brands and hand-selected Roots apparel, including vintage pieces, and will also serve as a key location for community engagements.
Continuing store refreshes (Mont-Tremblant
and Vaughan Mills)
Additional store enhancements continued across Canada, including Mont-Tremblant (reopened July 18) and Vaughan Mills (relaunched April 17). Each reflects the brand's commitment to heritage while offering a modern retail experience, featuring brighter, more immersive spaces with digital touch points, light wood finishes and streamlined merchandising for a seamless shopping journey.
