PACIFIC IMPERIAL ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Roman Shklanka has resigned as a director and chairman of the board of Pacific Imperial Mines Inc., effective immediately. The company thanks Mr. Shklanka for his many years as a member of the board of directors of the company. Mr. Shklanka has provided invaluable guidance and direction to the company with his renowned geologic and business expertise. Mr. Shklanka will continue to support the company as a technical adviser to the board of the directors.

Chris McLeod, the current chief executive officer and a director of the company, will replace Mr. Shklanka as the chairman of the board.
