The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, June 26, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Mohamed Sidibe has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation and $12 share target for Patriot Battery Metals. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $15.25. The Globe says Mr. Sidibe revised down his net asset value projection for Patriot Battery Metals after the release of its fourth quarter 2024 financial results last week. He now expects increased expenses in the current fiscal year and a higher equity raise expectation of $60-million, up from $50-million. Mr. Sidibe says in a note: "With Patriot Battery being an exploration company with no revenues being generated, the focus of the financial results is on the company's cash position and its ability to undertake its exploration and development programs. We continue to be on the lookout for results from the ongoing drill programs at CV5 and CV13 [at its Corvette property in Quebec], as well as the upcoming resource update and PEA expected in Q3/CY24. ... The company ended the fiscal year with cash and cash equivalents of $73-million vs. our estimate of $78-million on higher-than-expected G&A."
