PLURILOCK'S AURORA SYSTEMS RECEIVES US$304,000 PURCHASE ORDER FROM CALIFORNIA STATE UTILITY ORGANIZATION
Plurilock Security Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Aurora Systems Consulting Inc. has received a purchase order totaling $304,000 (U.S.) from a California state utility organization.
All contracts and orders announced by Plurilock and its subsidiaries since Jan. 1, 2022, including the latest orders, represent a combined total of roughly $1.16-million (U.S.) in sales. This order was secured through an open bid process and aligns with Plurilock's stated goal of securing contracts across key industry verticals.
According to Dark Reading, in a study done on critical infrastructure organizations, 83 per cent of these entities reported that they had suffered a cybersecurity breach in the last 36 months. This underscores the importance of utility organizations investing in cybersecurity tools and vendors that understand the challenges posed by the growing cyber threat.
Per the terms of the purchase order, Aurora will provide the California state utility organization with risk-based vulnerability management software and maintenance support.
