St. James Gold shareholders elect five directors at AGM

St. James Gold Corp. has concluded its annual general meeting of the stockholders, held on Dec. 12, 2023.

The chairman and all fellow members of the board of directors were re-elected for a subsequent term of office:

  • Chairman of the board of directors -- Mr. Yu, a serial entrepreneur and investor;
  • Corporate director -- Leigh Hughes, one of Western Australia's 40 under 40 in 2012;
  • Corporate director -- Nicholas Lin, an executive with Nasdaq market expertise;
  • Corporate director -- Dr. Tsun Yee (Sean) Law, an experienced executive physician consultant;
  • Corporate director -- Jessika Angarita, a leading multinational business development executive.

Mr. Yu, chairman and president of St. James Gold, states: "I am delighted to announce the continuation of our esteemed board members' tenure for a further term. As we look forward to a new year, we can reflect on the unwavering commitment and exemplary diligence shown by the St. James Gold team. Their efforts have been instrumental in navigating a challenging year, and have guided us to stand at the precipice of new opportunities and exciting developments."

The company has issued 1,475,000 options at a price of 18 cents per share to its various directors, management personnel and contractors, including the following for directors:

  • Mr. Yu was issued 300,000;
  • Mr. Hughes was issued 150,000;
  • Mr. Lin was issued 100,000;
  • Ms. Angarita was issued 100,000;
  • Mr. Law was issued 70,000.
