The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Nov. 7, edition that TD Cowen analysts Mario Mendonca continues to rate iA Financial "buy." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Mendonca gave his share target a $3 boost to $135. Analysts on average target the shares at $121.50. Mr. Mendonca says in a note: "Core EPS was well above estimates, supported by strong growth in Canada and WM, offset by weaker investment income and U.S. results (non-recurring expenses). Top-line momentum (including U.S. dealer services) remains strong across the company, growth in high ROE WM business and excess capital supports a meaningful increase in ROE guidance (expected at the Feb. 10, 2025, investor day)." The Globe reported on Sept. 17 that Mr. Mendonca had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for iA Financial. In the item Mr. Mendonca said, "After a challenging 2023, iA Financial fundamentals have turned the corner. The shares could then be had for $105.93. The Globe reported on Oct. 31 that Scotia Capital analyst Meny Grauman had reaffirmed his "sector outperform" recommendation for iA Financial. The shares could then be had for $115.34.
