HTC ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR

Regina, Saskatchewan -- HTC Purenergy Inc. ("HTC" or the "Company") (TSXV: HTC) announces that Mr. Lionel Kambeitz has tendered his resignation as director of HTC. Mr. Kambeitz served on the board of directors of the Corporation since 1996.

"We sincerely appreciate Mr. Kambeitz's contributions to our Corporation during his tenure and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors," said Jeffrey Allison, President and CEO of the board of directors of HTC Purenergy Inc.

Currently, the Board is comprised of Jeffrey Allison as President, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary, Wayne Bernakevitch as Chairman, and Garth Fredrickson (independent director). Jacelyn Case acts as Chief Financial Officer.
