The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, May 13, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Zachary Evershed has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Doman Building Materials Group. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities that Mr. Evershed's share target soared to $10.50 from $9. Analysts on average target the shares at $9.50. Mr. Evershed says in a note, "We rate Doman Building Materials Group 'outperform' as it continues to execute in a difficult near-term environment, working toward a bullish long-term outlook on housing markets driven by strong demographics and under-building exhibited over the last decade." The Globe reported on Aug. 14 and Oct. 8 that Mr. Evershed continued to rate Doman Building "outperform." The shares could then be had for $6.73 and $8.83. The Globe reported on April 23 that RBC Dominion Securities analyst Matthew McKellar had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Doman Building. The shares could then be had for $6.78.
