Arianne Phosphate appoints Beck as CEO

2021-05-05 09:43 ET - News Release

Mr. Jean-Sebastien David reports

Arianne Phosphate Inc.'s Jeffrey Beck will assume the role of chief executive officer as of May 5, 2021. He will also join the board of directors.

Mr. Beck was the founding managing partner and chairman of Ocean Partners Holding Ltd., a base and precious metal concentrate trading house, from 2004 through 2020. Mr Beck is a graduate of Queen's University (mining) and the University of Tennessee (MBA).

"Jeff brings us 40 years of experience in mining and trading industries," said Dominique Bouchard, executive chairman. "We look forward to his proven deal-making ability and leadership qualities helping to push the Lac a Paul project towards a resolution for all Arianne stakeholders. The timing is crucial given the actual improvement in the agriculture and fertilizer sectors."

Brian Ostroff, will become president of the company and, by using his strong background in finance and business development, continue to manage investor relationships, old and new, as well as equity financing, business initiatives and partnerships.

As well, Arianne today has announced a grant of 550,000 stock options to members of the board of directors and senior management. Each option entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company until May 4, 2031, at a price of 50 cents per share, this being the closing price of the company's shares on the trading day preceding the date of the grant. The options are subject to a vesting period and are also subject to regulatory approval.

Qualified person

Jean-Sebastien David, PGeo, qualified person by National Instrument 43-101, has approved this release. Mr. David is also the company's chief operating officer.
