Mr. Griffin Jones reports
BLUE RIVER RESOURCES ANNOUNCES EXPLORATION PLANS FOR THE CASTLE COPPER PROJECT
Blue River Resources Ltd. has provided its exploration plans for the Castle copper project, located approximately 20 kilometres south of Kodiak Copper's MPD discovery.
The area adjoining the project to the south (Rats showing) was previously explored by Blue River, last in 2014. The Rats showing is associated with the contact between the Nicola group volcanic rocks and the Summer Creek pluton.
In 2010, some magnetometer and very low-frequency surveys, along with a minor soil geochemical survey, were carried out in the southern portion of the current project area.
Recent interpretation by company personnel has determined that the regional Nicola fault runs through the property.
The company has recently completed an orientation soil sampling program over a portion of the contact zone of the Nicola fault in the southern portion of the property. A ground IP survey is also being planned to cover portions of the property.
