BROOKFIELD WEALTH SOLUTIONS SUBSIDIARY RECEIVES AUTHORIZATION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

The United Kingdom Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) have issued a licence to Brookfield Wealth Solutions Ltd. subsidiary Blumont Annuity Company U.K. Ltd. to participate directly in the U.K.'s pension risk transfer market.

The licence was issued following the successful completion of a comprehensive authorization process and confirmation the business has been fully capitalized.

The entry for Brookfield Wealth Solutions, which was spun out of Brookfield Corp. in June, 2021, will further extend Brookfield's presence in the U.K., where it is already a leading investor with over 63 billion pounds sterling of assets under management across infrastructure, real estate and renewable power. Brookfield and its U.K. portfolio companies employ approximately 23,000 people across the U.K.

Blumont Annuity U.K. plans to commence operations on March 25, 2025.
