Mr. Brian Miller reports
ASTRA EXPLORATION COMMENCES TRENCHING PROGRAM AT PAMPA PACIENCIA AND ANNOUNCES LISTING ON THE FRANKFURT STOCK EXCHANGE
Astra Exploration Inc. has commenced trenching operations at Pampa Paciencia, and Astra's shares are now listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) under the symbol S3I.
Chief executive officer Brian Miller commented: "Pampa Paciencia is a large district, with known high gold grades and wide veins that has hardly been explored as evidenced by the discovery of the new western veins. This trenching program will follow up the new 2,000 metres of vein subcrop that we have identified in the west of the Paciencia district in late 2022. Trenching will initially target an area with 5.33 grams per tonne gold equivalent and then expand to add drill targets to the company's inventory at Pampa Paciencia."
The company mobilized equipment and personnel to the Impaciencia Oeste area of the project during the week of March 19, 2023, to confirm and define newly discovered epithermal veins. Ground penetrating radar (GPR) will be used to determine the thickness of caliche sediment in various areas of the project, and heavy equipment will be used to remove the caliche so that vein dimensions can be determined and geochemistry sampled.
In Q4 2022, company geologists discovered approximately 2,000 metres of vein subcrop (near-surface veins covered by thin sediment layer) and surface float containing gold and silver with grades up to 5.33 grams per tonne gold equivalent. This new discovery is located on the western side of the project, approximately five kilometres west of the phase I and phase II drill programs. For more information, see the Jan. 25, 2023, news release.

About Pampa Paciencia
Pampa Paciencia is a 3,840-hectare road-access, low-sulphidation epithermal (LSE) gold-silver project located within an active mining district less than 15 kilometres from two major mines (Sierra Gorda and Spence) and about five kilometres from the Faride LSE mine.
Astra has completed drilling, mapping and sampling, geophysical surveys, and localized trenching at the Pampa Paciencia project and, in doing so, has defined a vein boulder (float) field over approximately 75 per cent of the project area. The veins do not outcrop as the majority of the project area is covered by a thin layer of gravel and caliche, but the vein float can be used to identify areas of high prospectivity.
