ARGONAUT GOLD BOLSTERS OPERATIONAL TEAM WITH APPOINTMENT OF VICE PRESIDENT, CANADIAN OPERATIONS
Argonaut Gold Inc. has appointed Chuck Hennessey as vice-president, Canadian operations, effective Aug. 29, 2022.
Mr. Hennessey brings 35 years of mining and project leadership experience to the role, including extensive experience through construction, operational readiness, plant commissioning and project ramp-up. Recently, Mr. Hennessey worked for Centerra Gold Corp. as vice-president of operations, British Columbia, and as mine general manager at the Mount Milligan mine. Before Centerra, Mr. Hennessey was mine general manager at two large Ontario mines. Mr. Hennessey has been responsible for improving safety, cost and production metrics at mine sites and building relationships with first nations partners. Mr. Hennessey led a team that received the Jake McDonald Annual Reclamation Award for research into innovative reclamation techniques.
