The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Monday was a so-so 74-81-149. The TSX Venture Exchange added one point to 602 while polished diamond prices edged higher. Dean Taylor's Diamcor Mining Inc. (DMI) dropped 1.5 cents to 27 cents on 193,000 shares. There was no news to account for the drop.
Mark Ireton's Noram Ventures Inc. (NRM), up four cents to 25 cents on 72,000 shares, has settled its dispute over the boundaries of its Zeus project in the Clayton Valley district of southern Nevada. Noram has agreed to vacate its request for an injunction prohibiting Centrestone Resources LLC from trespassing on Zeus. In return, Centrestone agreed to stop the trespassing and to drop a countersuit. Mr. Ireton, president and chief executive officer, said that he and his crew "could not be more pleased with the outcome" of the situation, adding that Noram can now "move forward with the aggressive development of the inferred resource" at Zeus.
