FIRST ASSET ANNOUNCES MARCH, 2008 DISTRIBUTIONS

Utility Split Trust has declared its monthly cash distribution for the month ending March 31, 2008, of 9.688 cents per unit. The distribution will be payable on or before April 15, 2008, to unitholders of record on March 31, 2008.
