FIRST ASSET FUNDS INC. ANNOUNCES JANUARY, 2008 DISTRIBUTIONS

Utility Split Trust has declared its monthly cash distribution for the month ending Jan. 31, 2008, of 9.688 cents per unit. The distribution will be payable on or before Feb. 15, 2008, to unitholders of record on Jan. 31, 2008.
