NAME CHANGE AND SHARE CONSOLIDATION EFFECTIVE

New Global Ventures Ltd.'s share consolidation on a 1:2 basis and change of name to New Global Ventures International Ltd., previously announced in Stockwatch, have been accepted for filing by the TSX Venture Exchange and will be effective on Friday, March 14, 2008. Accordingly, with the opening of trading on March 14, 2008, the company's shares will cease to trade under its former name, New Global Ventures, and will trade on a consolidated basis under the name New Global Ventures International with the symbol "NNG."
