ARROWHEAD WATER ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND GRANTING OF OPTIONS

The board of directors of Arrowhead Water Products Ltd. has appointed Frank Marasco, of Calgary, Alta., to the board of directors of the company, effective Aug. 22, 2008. Mr. Marasco has extensive public company experience, has served and is serving on boards of public companies, and is currently the president and chief executive officer of West High Yield (WHY) Resources Ltd. Mr. Marasco will also serve on the audit committee, and compensation and governance committee of the company.
