Silverado no longer facing suit from Sangra Moller

by Mike Caswell

Vancouver law firm Sangra Moller LLP has discontinued its lawsuit against Silverado Gold Mines Ltd., an OTC Bulletin Board company. A notice of discontinuance filed with the Supreme Court of British Columbia on Sept. 28, 2009, does not state why the firm abandoned the case.

Sangra Moller's claim

Sangra Moller filed a brief statement of claim against Silverado at the Vancouver courthouse on Sept. 16, 2009. The suit alleged that Silverado owed it $77,765 in unpaid legal fees. According to the claim, Silverado had hired Sangra Moller on May 22, 2008, and had subsequently invoiced it for $87,765 in work.

The invoices went unpaid, and Sangra Moller threatened to sue Silverado on July 30, 2009, the suit stated. Silverado then agreed to pay the money in instalments, but actually only paid $10,000, Sangra Moller claimed.

The law firm sought $77,765, plus interest and court costs. Sangra Moller was represented by Kevin Loo of Nathanson, Schachter & Thompson LLP.

Silverado did not respond to the suit in court.

Silverado Gold is too busy paying pump and dump guys. I received nearly 50 emails from them in the past several weeks.

They are crooks. Stay away.

Silverado is hanging on by their fingernails, and they need to keep this matter out of SEC filings. That's the only reason they placated Sangra Moller. "Gold investor" is right, stay away from these crooked scam artists. Death is at their door, and they'll take your money down with them.

You've been warned.

I think it is safe to say that if David baines has written about a company, then you should definitely think twice about investing in that company. If David Baines has written SIX articles about a company, and you still invest blindly without thoroughly checking facts ,you might be an imbecile. By the way,, I think David Baines wrote five or six articles on this company.
