TOTEM MINERALS BEGINS DRILL PROGRAM AT STUMP LAKE GOLD PROPERTY
Totem Minerals Inc. is
conducting the recommended exploration program as contained in its prospectus dated June 29, 2008
(see technical report posted on SEDAR). An initial drill program will commence on May 11, 2009.
The company's Microgold gold property is located north of Stump Lake, in British Columbia, NTS 92I/8W,
in the Nicola and Kamloops mining divisions, approximately midway between Merritt and Kamloops on
Highway 5A. The Micro 1-8 mineral on-line claims cover 2,658 hectares (26.6 square kilometres).
Previously collected soil samples have been submitted for analysis, and a comprehensive compilation of
all the extensive previous drilling, geology, geophysics and geochemistry has been completed to select the
optimum drill targets.
At the Microgold property, Upper Triassic Nicola group volcanic and sedimentary rock units are part of
the Quesnel terrane within the Intermontane tectonic belt. Epithermal-style gold mineralization, hosted
by Nicola volcanics, has been found on the property, which in part lies on the north shore of Stump Lake. The remainder is available to Stockwatch subscribers. If you would like to give the Stockwatch system a try,
