TRIBUTE RESOURCES ANNOUNCES APPROVAL OF NORMAL COURSE ISSUER BID

Tribute Resources Inc. will make a normal course issuer bid to purchase up to 3,550,900 of its issued and outstanding common shares, or approximately five per cent of its 71,018,000 common shares as of June 15, 2009. The bid will commence on June 15, 2009, and will terminate on the earlier of June 14, 2010, or the date on which the maximum number of Tribute common shares are purchased pursuant to the bid. The notice of intention has been approved by the TSX Venture Exchange. Purchases of Tribute common shares under the bid will be made through the facilities of the TSX-V by CIBC Wood Gundy at the market price at the time of purchase.
