Based in London, he will report to Morgan McDonnell, head of foreign exchange, and facilitate continued product expansion and increased market coverage for RBC Dexia, both regionally and across time zones.
Mr. Braithwaite joins RBC Dexia from Saxo Bank Capital Markets in Copenhagen where he was global head of foreign exchange trading. Prior to this, he held progressively senior positions with RBC, including postings in London, Tokyo and Singapore. Roles with Nomura Bank International PLC London and HSBC in London are also part of his background.
