PENN WEST ENERGY TRUST ANNOUNCES PROPERTY SALE

Penn West Energy Trust has closed a transaction with Husky Energy to sell certain heavy oil properties in the Lloydminster area. The properties are currently producing approximately 6,000 barrels per day.
