Tungsten names Heikkila to board 2009-11-16 08:14 ET - News Release Mr. Stephen Leahy reports NORTH AMERICAN TUNGSTEN CORPORATION LTD.: APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR North American Tungsten Corp. Ltd. has appointed Kurt Heikkila to the board of directors. Mr. Heikkila, of White Bear Lake, Minn., is currently president of Wild River Consulting Group, the founder and president of Tundra Companies, and is one of the three governors of Tungsten Diversified Industries LLC. Mr. Heikkila attended Concordia College earning his BA in physics and chemistry and received his MS in chemistry from the University of Minnesota. In 1986 Mr. Heikkila was with EI DuPont du Nemours & Co. as department head of the electronic chemicals division. By 1988 Mr. Heikkila founded Aspen Research Corporation serving as president and chairman until 1997 when Aspen was acquired by Anderson Corp. where Mr. Heikkila became senior vice-president of technology and business development.
